Here is my final versions of my 'front cover and contents pages'.

'College Magazine Photographs'

Here are the photograph's I took around college which I was going to use for my College Magazine. There are several different shots because I had to consider which would be best for content pages and front covers.

Creating my College Magazine

For a practise task we had to create a 'College Magazine' before we moved onto creating our
music magazine. Therefore before we could create anything we had to all as class go out in
small groups and take photographs which would be suitbable to put into the magazine. After we
took our photographs we had to come up with individual ideas of what we could put onto our
magazine.
For my 'College Magazine' I have created a Halloween addition as it is coming up. Here are some of the 'Mastheads' and photographs I got for my Magazine.

Practising Photoshop Skill's

Here we were given a task to create a perfume
advertisment that we had to create on our own
using photoshop to show the skills we had or
what we had already learn't.

I created two poster advertisments, in each one
I used different skills. However at the same time
I used the same skills and techniques.

Evaluation:

For my media coursework I am going to create and make a college magazine for the students to read throughout the college day, I want my magazine to be unique and different.

I aim to make my magazine for everyone to read both boys and girls therefore there is endless possibilities and then it isn’t only for a certain amount of people. Therefore I aim the college magazine at students and staff; this means the age range aims from 16 onwards.

The purpose of the magazine is to give the students a variety of help and direction within the college day also to give them some fun and some good interesting things to look at. The way I can find out what’s good and what isn’t good to put in the magazine is through my questionnaire. The questionnaire has cancelled down and evaluated what’s popular and what’s not as interesting.

Looking through my results I have found many different groups and social classes therefore there is a range of things that you can explore and put into the magazine.

All the servers have a multitude of choices, however all the answers often overlap and many people share interests like the genres of music and where there live and the beliefs they follow.

Overall view:

Within my questionnaire I added physiological question to see what type of people there is and how different people act upon what they like and what they stick to. I found a majority of people that answered my questionnaire were part of a belongers group.  

College Magazine

Before creating our music magazine we have a task to create a College magazine cover and contents this is a practise task.
Here is my research for the college magazine: 
In these images of other college magazines there is a constant repitition of the up close mid shot therefore we have also decided to do that in our own magazine. So before we could start desiging and making our magazine we went out in small groups and took images for our college magazine.





Also on the front of the magazine there are small bullet points informing the students or the readers what they can find out within the magazine. in In this image there is inteligence being protrayed with the books and the old victorian feel to it. With this image as the front cover it gives the college a good professional vibe which could attract inteligent new students. here

 

Here is a contents page this shows edge and youth, this represents a college magazine really well because it isn't to serious but it informs the reader of everything they need to know.
Overall the college magazines all consist of the same things yet they present them in different ways.

Different Forms of Photogrpahy

Here in our class we all got into small groups and got given a camera and a sheet listed with several different shots and we all went out and took different shots of what were listed on the sheet. we used different background and images and played around seeing what we could get. we used different techniques on the camera also this is to make things more effective and less dull making the images more interesting and something more to look at.

In this image it protrays lot of messages for the target audience it is reaching out for. This image is of five beautiful girls that other girs idolise and want to be like and this image even though make up is smudged and hair isnt in perfect place they still symbolise and signify a beautiful image people want to look like. This image is rough and edgy and showing some element of mischeif with the police identification notices. Also there is some sexual nature to this image as some of them have open mouths and pouting and looking directly into the camera making contact therefore, protraying confidence and fearless.

Cheryl Cole is an idol for many girls and all of her images in the media today show sterotypical views of how beauty is protrayed and how people think they should look, nothing less than perfection. In this image as well as many others she looks pure and happy, in many sense she looks perfect some how like she isnt real.

Intoduction to AS media coursework

This is the first blog of my music magazine coursework project. Over the course of this blog, I will show you how I have been building up ideas for my music magazine.
I am particulary interested in The Saturdays, Rhianna, Eninem, basically anything in the charts and that are up to date artists. The genre i was going to base my music magazine is Chart music Pop music and R'N'B artists. The magazines i generally focus on reading would be Look, Okay, New the sterotypical girls magazine.
